Plot: Set in 1933 New York, “King Kong” follows an ambitious movie producer who leads his cast and crew on an expedition to the mysterious Skull Island. There, they encounter Kong, a colossal ape who becomes infatuated with the lead actress, Ann Darrow. As they navigate the treacherous island and face off against hostile creatures, including dinosaurs, the crew must find a way to capture Kong and bring him back to New York City, where he is put on display as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” However, Kong’s captors soon learn that the true danger lies in underestimating the power and intelligence of the mighty ape.
